Lymphatic Drainage Machine Therapy is an advanced wellness treatment that stimulates the lymphatic system — the body’s natural detox and immune-support network.
Unlike the circulatory system, the lymphatic system has no central pump. It relies on movement and external stimulation to flow efficiently. When lymph flow becomes sluggish due to stress, inactivity, travel, surgery, or hormonal changes, fluid retention, swelling and fatigue can occur.
This therapy uses controlled compression technology to support and enhance natural lymphatic flow.
Lymphatic Drainage Machine Therapy is commonly used to support:
• Fluid retention and swelling
• Bloating and puffiness
• Post-surgical recovery (including cosmetic procedures)
• Sluggish circulation
• Muscle fatigue and recovery
• Detox and immune support
• Feelings of heaviness or low energy
It is suitable for both men and women seeking internal balance and improved wellbeing.
This treatment uses medically inspired pressotherapy technology.
• Specialised compression garments are placed on the treatment area (legs, abdomen, arms or full body).
• Air chambers inflate and deflate in a controlled, wave-like sequence.
• Compression begins at the furthest point (such as the feet) and moves upward toward the lymph nodes.
This creates a gentle pressure gradient that encourages stagnant lymph fluid and excess interstitial fluid to move toward the body’s filtration points.
The process mimics manual lymphatic drainage massage while allowing consistent, rhythmic stimulation across larger areas of the body.
Clients often report:
• Reduced swelling and fluid retention
• A lighter, less bloated feeling
• Improved circulation
• Faster muscle recovery
• Increased sense of relaxation
• Improved overall wellbeing
Results can often be felt immediately, with continued improvement over a course of treatments.
Your session begins with a consultation to assess suitability.
During treatment:
• You will change into comfortable clothing.
• Compression garments are fitted to the treatment area.
• The machine begins a rhythmic, wave-like compression cycle.
• The sensation feels like a gentle, rolling squeeze.
The treatment is painless, non-invasive and deeply relaxing.
Sessions typically last 30–45 minutes.

Following your Lymphatic Drainage Massage Suit treatment, it is important to care for your body correctly to maximise the benefits of treatment, support your lymphatic system and maintain your results. Most clients find the treatment relaxing and experience little to no downtime. Following treatment, you may notice: * Increased urination as your body eliminates excess fluid. * Reduced feelings of bloating or fluid retention. * A feeling of lightness in the treated areas. * Improved circulation. * Mild tenderness if the tissues were particularly congested. These effects are normal and usually settle within 24–48 hours. To support your lymphatic system: * Drink plenty of water throughout the day to stay well hydrated. * Resume normal daily activities. * Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. * Avoid alcohol for the remainder of the day where possible. For the first 24–48 hours * Continue drinking plenty of water to support the removal of excess fluid. * Avoid excessive alcohol consumption. * Maintain light physical activity, such as walking, to encourage healthy lymphatic circulation. * Eat a healthy, balanced diet and avoid excessive salt intake where possible, as this can contribute to fluid retention. ## For the First 5–7 days: * Continue to stay well hydrated. * Maintain regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle to support long-term results. * Attend your recommended treatment course, as regular sessions often provide the greatest benefits. * Follow any additional advice provided by your practitioner if the treatment was performed alongside other body contouring procedures. To achieve the best results from your Lymphatic Drainage Massage Suit treatment: * Drink plenty of water every day. * Maintain a healthy diet and regular exercise routine. * Avoid prolonged periods of sitting or standing where possible. * Attend regular maintenance treatments as recommended by your practitioner. * Follow your personalised treatment plan to support circulation, reduce fluid retention and enhance body contouring results. Please contact Body Perfection Clinic if you have any concerns following your treatment or experience: * Increasing pain or swelling. * Persistent redness or skin irritation. * Unusual discomfort that does not improve. * Any unexpected or concerning reaction following your treatment. If you develop symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, severe leg pain or swelling, or you feel generally unwell, seek immediate medical attention by contacting your GP, NHS 111 or attending your nearest emergency department, as these symptoms may indicate a serious underlying medical condition unrelated to the treatment. Your practitioner will be happy to advise you and arrange a review appointment if required.
