During your consultation, your practitioner will assess your skin, discuss your concerns and determine which Circadia® Face Mask is best suited to your skin type and goals. We will review your: Skin type and current skin condition. Medical history and current medications. Previous skin and aesthetic treatments. Current skincare routine and products. Treatment goals and expectations. Your practitioner will explain how Circadia® Face Mask treatments work, discuss the expected results, outline any potential risks and answer any questions you may have. This ensures your treatment is tailored to your individual skin needs and delivers the best possible outcome. For your appointment, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and arriving with clean skin, free from makeup where possible. This allows your practitioner to carry out a thorough skin assessment and, where appropriate, proceed with treatment on the same day. Every person's skin is unique, which is why we create a personalised treatment plan based on your individual skin concerns. Following your Circadia® Face Mask treatment, it is important to care for your skin correctly to maximise your results, support your skin barrier and maintain a healthy, radiant complexion. After Your Treatment It is normal to experience some temporary effects following treatment, including: Mild redness or warmth in the treated area. Slight tightness or sensitivity. Increased skin hydration and radiance. Softer, smoother and brighter-looking skin. These reactions are expected and usually settle within a few hours. Most clients can return to their normal daily activities immediately after treatment. To protect your skin and enhance your results: Use a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser and apply the recommended moisturiser. Drink plenty of water to help keep your skin hydrated. Avoid touching, rubbing or scratching the treated area. Continue using any professional homecare products recommended by your practitioner. For the first 24–48 hours: Avoid direct sun exposure. Avoid hot baths, hot showers, saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs. Avoid vigorous exercise or activities that cause excessive sweating. Avoid swimming pools and chlorinated water if your skin feels sensitive. Avoid makeup for 24 hours, where possible, to allow your skin to fully benefit from the treatment. For the first 3–5 days: Avoid retinol, retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, vitamin C serums, exfoliating acids and facial scrubs. Continue using a gentle cleanser and moisturiser only. Avoid chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplaning or laser treatments unless advised by your practitioner. Do not pick or scratch any dry or flaky skin if mild flaking occurs. Protecting your skin from UV exposure is essential following a Circadia® Face Mask treatment. Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30–50 every day, even on cloudy days. Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours when outdoors. Avoid direct sun exposure and sunbeds for at least 2 weeks following treatment. Wear a wide-brimmed hat or other physical sun protection whenever possible. Failure to protect your skin from UV exposure can increase the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). Circadia® Face Masks are designed to hydrate, nourish and restore the skin while targeting specific skin concerns. To maximise your results: Attend treatments as recommended by your practitioner. Continue using daily SPF to protect your skin and maintain your results. Follow a personalised homecare routine recommended by your practitioner. Keep your skin well hydrated with quality moisturisers and adequate daily water intake. Please contact Body Perfection Clinic if you have any concerns about your healing or experience: Severe or worsening redness lasting longer than 72 hours. Excessive swelling or increasing pain. Blistering. Delayed healing. Any unexpected or concerning reaction following your treatment. If you think you have developed an infection (such as increasing redness, excessive heat, pus, discharge or fever), or you feel generally unwell, please seek immediate medical advice from your GP, NHS 111 or your nearest emergency department if your symptoms are severe. Your practitioner will be happy to advise you and arrange a review appointment if required.

To ensure your Circadia® Face Mask treatment is as safe and effective as possible, please follow the advice below before your appointment. Avoid direct sun exposure, sunbeds and self-tanning products for at least 2 weeks before your treatment. Recently tanned skin may be more sensitive and prone to irritation. Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30–50 every day before your treatment and continue to protect your skin from UV exposure. Discontinue the use of retinol, retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, vitamin C serums, benzoyl peroxide and exfoliating products for 3–5 days before treatment, unless advised otherwise by your practitioner. Avoid chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplaning, laser treatments or IPL treatments on the treatment area for at least 2 weeks before your appointment. Do not wax, thread, use depilatory creams or bleach facial hair on the treatment area for 5–7 days before treatment. Arrive with clean skin, free from makeup, moisturisers, sunscreen, oils and perfume on the treatment area. Stay well hydrated before your appointment to support healthy skin function and optimise your treatment results. Inform your practitioner if you are taking or have recently taken Roaccutane (Isotretinoin), antibiotics, steroids, photosensitising medications or topical prescription skincare as these may affect your suitability for treatment. Please inform your practitioner of any changes to your medical history, allergies, pregnancy status, skin conditions or recent aesthetic treatments before your appointment. If you have an active cold sore, skin infection, eczema flare-up, dermatitis, sunburn, open wound or irritated skin within the treatment area, please contact the clinic as your treatment may need to be postponed. During your consultation, your practitioner will assess your skin, discuss your concerns and treatment goals, and select the most appropriate Circadia® Face Mask for your skin type. Whether your skin requires hydration, calming, brightening, purification or anti-ageing support, your treatment will be tailored to help you achieve the best possible results.

Treatment is not suitable for clients with: Active cancer or those currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy, pregnancy or breastfeeding (depending on the products used), uncontrolled diabetes, autoimmune disorders, blood clotting disorders, Immunosuppression, known allergies to treatment ingredients. Treatment is not suitable for clients with: Active bacterial, viral or fungal skin infections, active herpes simplex (cold sores), open wounds, cuts or abrasions, active eczema, psoriasis or dermatitis flare-ups, severe or inflamed acne, sunburn or recently tanned skin, rosacea flare-ups or severely sensitive skin, recent facial surgery that has not fully healed. Treatment should be postponed for clients with: Current or recent use of Roaccutane (Isotretinoin), photosensitising medications, recent steroid therapy, known sensitivities to mask ingredients. Treatment should be postponed if: botox or dermal fillers have been administered within the previous 2 weeks, chemical peels, microneedling or laser treatments have recently been performed, the client is feeling unwell or has a fever, there is active inflammation or irritation within the treatment area.

For your Circadia Face Mask appointment, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and arriving with clean skin free from makeup where possible. If treatment is being performed on the face, neck or chest, a loose-fitting top with a wide neckline or buttons is ideal to allow easy access and maximise comfort during your treatment. Soft, breathable fabrics are recommended, and there is no need for special clothing as this is a gentle, relaxing and non-invasive treatment. Avoid high collars, scarves or jewellery around the neck that may interfere with treatment or cause irritation afterwards. Please avoid applying heavy creams, fake tan or perfumes to the treatment area before your appointment where possible. Most clients are able to return to normal activities immediately following treatment, making Circadia Face Masks an ideal addition to any skincare programme. Your comfort and privacy are always our priority, and disposable headbands, towels and gowns are provided when required to help you relax and enjoy your treatment.

Most Circadia Professional Face Masks have little to no downtime.
