All ofus have been affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.


We have missed being able to offer you the treatments that we know you love, and we are looking forward to seeing youagain as soon as possible.


Our priority is to keep you as safe as possible, and priorto re-opening the salon we haveimplemented a number of changes which wewould like to make you aware of. During the time the salon has been shut, we have completed the Coronavirus(COVID-19) Infection Prevention and Control course which is accredited by theGuild of Professional Beauty Therapists Ltd and the barbicide COVID-19certificate, the UK trade body for our industry. We have since made a number of changes in the way that we operatethat you will notice when you next visit.


Booking Appointments


If any of our staff feel ill or havesymptoms of C0VlD-19, they willself-isolate immediately and not come into the salon. This may mean that we have to cancel your appointment atshort notice. We appreciate that thismay be inconvenient, but it is done entirely for your own safety. If yourappointment is cancelled you will be able to re-book again as soon as we can.


If you orany of the people you live with feel ill or display any symptoms of C0VlD-19 –please advise us as soon as possible and DO NOT COME TO THE SALON FOR YOURAPPOINTMENT. We have amended our bookingterms and conditions and you will not be charged for any appointments which youmiss due to illness/ other.


Visiting the Salon


For yoursafety and to maintain social distancing, weask that you attend your appointments as close to the appointment time aspossible. Please do not turn up early for appointments as this may mean thatyou come into contact with other clients who are just leaving. We will ask youto stay in your car until your appointment time. We have provided outdoorseating for you to relax in while you wait. We may have a text system, wherewill will text you when the client has left, we will inform you of this closerto the time.


We have increased the frequency of cleaning in the salonincluding making sure that common surfaces, toilets door handles are wipedclean using disinfectant products between eachclient, we will have a 15 minute gap between each client to do this.


All tools and equipment will bedisinfected or sterilised in line with the specific manufacturers’ instructionsfor your safety.  


Wherever possible we will utiliseenvironmentally, friendly, single use items during a treatment that will bedisposed of safely after use in order to protect you from cross infection.


Only one person per visit, pleasedon’t bring family or friends to wait with you in the clinic.


We will not offer refreshments orfood, however if you would like a drink, we will provide disposable cups andspoons for you.


We kindly asks for no hugs, kisses orhandshakes at the moment.


You willhave access to soap and hot water to wash your hands with as soon as you enterthe salon and we will also have handsanitiser available for you to use when you come into the salon.


We will understand and not be offended if you wish to weara facemask or wear disposable gloves when you visit the salon and during yourtreatment is this is appropriate, please provide your own.


Pleasedon’t be surprised or upset if our staff usepersonal protective equipment (PPE) during your visit and during yourtreatment. This may include disposablegloves / facemasks / aprons / face shields / screens where appropriate.


We can confirm that the laundering of salon towels anduniforms is a priority we can assureyou that all salon laundry is washed at 60 degrees C


Alldisposable items are bagged and safely removed from the treatment area between every day.


Our treatments


Although we are very happy to seeyou, please do not try to hug us or shake our hands we want to keep contact toa minimum for protection to both parties.


We havecarried out a risk assessment on all treatments and we are confident that we can continue to provide these safely


During your treatment


Our staff understand the importance of hand hygiene and wewill ensure that we wash our hands inaccording with NHS recommendations before the start of your treatment.


We will try to make your treatment as safe, comfortable andenjoyable as possible. If you have any concerns about your treatments pleaselet us know and we will do what we can tosatisfy you.


After the treatment


In order to avoid handling of cash, we would prefer if you could pay for your treatment by card / or in advance using bank transfers.


All of these procedures have been implemented for your safety and that of our staff. We will continue to take advice from the Government and the NHS regarding safe practice and will amend them as necessary.
