Waxing is a professional hair removal treatment that removes hair from the root using warm wax. It provides longer-lasting smoothness compared to shaving and helps reduce regrowth over time.
At Body Perfection Clinic, we offer both hot wax and strip wax to suit different skin types, hair textures, and treatment areas.
Waxing removes unwanted hair from almost any area of the body, including:

Warm wax is applied to the treatment area and adheres to the hair. Once set, the wax is removed quickly, lifting the hair from the root.
Hot wax is ideal for sensitive or intimate areas as it grips the hair without strongly adhering to the skin. Strip wax is typically used for larger areas such as legs and arms for efficient hair removal.
Most clients experience:
• Smooth, hair-free skin
• Slower regrowth compared to shaving
• Softer regrowth over time
• Reduced irritation from daily shaving
Results typically last between 3–6 weeks depending on hair growth cycles.
Your treatment begins with a brief consultation to assess skin type and hair growth.
During the procedure:
• The skin is cleansed
• Wax is applied to the area
• The wax is removed quickly and professionally
• A soothing product is applied to calm the skin
Treatment time varies depending on the area being treated.
Both strip wax and hot wax remove hair from the root to provide longer-lasting smoothness, but they work slightly differently and are suited to different areas of the body.
Strip wax is applied in a thin layer and removed using paper or fabric strips. It adheres to both the hair and the skin, allowing large areas to be treated quickly and efficiently.

Benefits:
Hot wax is applied directly to the skin and allowed to set before being removed without strips. It mainly grips the hair rather than the skin, making it a gentler and more comfortable option for sensitive areas.

Neither wax is better than the other — they simply serve different purposes. At Body Perfection Clinic, we select the most appropriate waxing method based on the area being treated, your hair type and your skin sensitivity to ensure the most comfortable and effective results possible. In many cases, both strip wax and hot wax may be used during the same appointment to achieve the best outcome.
At Body Perfection Clinic, we focus on professional technique, hygiene, and comfort.
We tailor each waxing treatment to your skin sensitivity and hair type, ensuring effective removal while protecting the integrity of your skin. Our goal is smooth results with minimal irritation.
