A consultation is an important part of your Body Perfection Facial and is recommended before your first treatment. During your consultation, your practitioner will assess your skin, discuss your concerns and determine how the treatment can be tailored to help you achieve your skin goals. We will review your: Skin type and current skin condition. Medical history and current medications. Previous skin and aesthetic treatments. Current skincare routine. Treatment goals and expectations. Your practitioner will explain what the Body Perfection Facial involves, discuss the expected results and answer any questions you may have. If appropriate, a personalised treatment plan will be created to address your individual skin concerns. For your appointment, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and arriving with clean skin, free from makeup where possible. This allows your practitioner to carry out a thorough skin assessment and, where appropriate, proceed with treatment on the same day. Every person's skin is different, which is why we tailor every Body Perfection Facial to your individual needs. To maximise your results and support your skin's recovery, please follow the aftercare advice below. Immediately after treatment it is normal to experience mild redness, warmth or slight skin sensitivity following your facial. These effects are temporary and typically settle within a few hours, although some clients may experience mild sensitivity for up to 48 hours. For the First 24–48 Hours Avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot baths and excessive heat. Avoid vigorous exercise or activities that cause excessive sweating. Avoid swimming pools and hot tubs. Protect your skin from direct sun exposure and avoid sunbeds. Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every day, even in cloudy weather. Keep your skin well hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Skincare Advice: Avoid using retinol, retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, exfoliating acids, scrubs and other active skincare products for 3–5 days after treatment unless advised otherwise by your practitioner. Avoid picking, rubbing or excessively touching the treated skin. Use a gentle cleanser and moisturiser to help support your skin's natural healing process. Continue using any recommended homecare products to maintain and enhance your results. Additional Advice: If you are planning to have anti-wrinkle injections (Botox® or similar), dermal fillers, skin boosters or other aesthetic treatments, please discuss the appropriate treatment intervals with your practitioner before booking. Contact the clinic if you experience prolonged redness, swelling, irritation or any unexpected reaction following your treatment.

To ensure the safest treatment and achieve the best possible results, please follow the advice below before your appointment: Avoid excessive sun exposure, sunbeds and self-tanning products for 5–7 dayS before your treatment. Discontinue the use of retinol, retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, exfoliating acids and other active skincare products for 3–5 days prior to your appointment, unless otherwise advised by your practitioner. Do not wax, thread, use depilatory creams or undergo other facial treatments on the treatment area for 5–7 days before your appointment. Arrive with clean skin free from makeup, if possible. Stay well hydrated before your treatment to help optimise your skin's response and overall results. Please inform your practitioner of any skin conditions, allergies, recent illnesses, medications or changes to your medical history before treatment. Let your practitioner know if you have had anti-wrinkle injections (Botox® or similar), dermal fillers, skin boosters, PDO threads, chemical peels, microneedling, laser treatments or other aesthetic procedures within the previous 2–4 weeks, as your treatment may need to be postponed. If you develop a cold sore, skin infection, sunburn or any irritation within the treatment area before your appointment, please contact the clinic as your treatment may need to be rescheduled. During your consultation, your skin will be thoroughly assessed to ensure the treatment is suitable for you. Your practitioner will tailor the facial to your individual skin type, concerns and treatment goals to achieve the safest and most effective results.

Treatment is not suitable for clients with: Active cancer or those currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy, pregnancy or breastfeeding (depending on the products and modalities used), uncontrolled diabetes, autoimmune disorders, severe heart conditions, epilepsy (unless medically controlled and approved), blood clotting disorders, immunosuppression. Active bacterial, viral or fungal skin infections, active herpes simplex (cold sores), open wounds, cuts or abrasions, severe acne or inflamed acne breakouts. Active eczema, psoriasis or dermatitis flare-ups, sunburn or recently tanned skin, recent facial surgery that has not fully healed. History of keloid scarring or abnormal wound healing, known allergies or sensitivities to treatment products or ingredients. Treatment should be postponed for clients with: Current or recent use of Roaccutane (Isotretinoin), photosensitising medications, recent steroid injections or oral steroid therapy, blood-thinning medications, unless medically approved. Treatment should be postponed if: Botox or dermal fillers have been administered within the previous 2 weeks, chemical peels, laser treatments or microneedling have recently been performed, the client is feeling unwell or has a fever, there is active inflammation, irritation or infection within the treatment area.

For your Body Perfection Facial appointment, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and arriving with clean skin free from makeup where possible. If treatment is being performed on the face, neck or chest, a loose-fitting top with a wide neckline or buttons is ideal to allow easy access and ensure maximum comfort. Avoid wearing high collars, scarves or fabrics that may rub against the skin following treatment. Soft, breathable clothing is recommended, particularly if your skin is sensitive or prone to redness. There is no need for special clothing, and most clients are able to return to normal activities immediately after treatment. Your comfort and privacy are always our priority, and disposable headbands, towels and gowns are provided when required to help you relax and enjoy your treatment.
