Diamond Tip Microdermabrasion

Diamond-Tip Dermabrasion is suitable for all skin types and colours and will not cause scarring or colour changes. It is less aggressive the the traditional dermabrasion and has a quicker recovery time, But can still achieve great results and wont require needles or medication to numb the skin.

It works in two parts. Firstly, a machine uses a diamond tip to gently exfoliate the surface of the skin to remove dead skin cells, While a vacuum sucks the removed skin cells and debris away.

Diamond tip dermabrasion is the process of exfoliating the skin. It uses no chemicals and is not invasive. The procedure removes the dead and dry outer layer of the skins surface to reveal fresh, healthy skin. It rejuvenates the surface, resulting in a brighter complexion.

For the next 48 Hours avoid the following: *Avoid all heat treatments such as Steam rooms, Saunas, Hot Baths, Hot showers and excessive exercise. *Avoid all perfumed creams, soaps and lotions on the treatment area(Until scabs have healed), Only use aloe vera gel. If the treatment area is sensitive continue all the above lists for another week. Do NOT use sunbeds or sunbathe for at least 31 days after you treatment.

It is common for the area to feel slightly warm. It is also common to experience some redness, Local swelling and mild tenderness. These symptoms may appear immediately or a few days after treatment. The use of aloe vera gel (100%) is recommended directly after treatment and for a further 3 days if needed. An ice cold compress can be applied if the area feels hot or uncomfortable. A high SPF 30+ should be applied when outside for 4 weeks after the treatment. Excessive exposure can cause hypo or hyper pigmentation of the skin.

*Do not use sun beds for 30 days before and after your treatment. *Do not sunbathe for 30 days before and after your appointment. *Do not use tanning cream. *Do not use retinol for 3 days before your treatment. *No Skin peels/Microneedling/Botox or Fillers for 2 weeks before.
