HydraFacial (also known as Hydra-Dermabrasion or Aqua Peel) is a non-invasive resurfacing treatment that combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction and hydration in one procedure.
Using vortex suction technology, the treatment removes impurities while simultaneously delivering active ingredients into the skin.
It is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, and is designed to improve overall skin health as well as target specific concerns.
HydraFacial can help improve:
• Dull or tired-looking skin
• Dehydration
• Congested pores and blackheads
• Mild acne
• Pigmentation
• Uneven texture
• Fine lines and early ageing
• Enlarged pores
It can be customised to maintain healthy skin or target specific concerns discussed during consultation.
HydraFacial uses advanced vortex technology to gently resurface the skin while infusing it with targeted serums.
The process removes dead skin cells and impurities while delivering ingredients such as:
• Lactic acid and Alpha Hydroxy Acids for gentle exfoliation
• Salicylic acid for oily and acne-prone skin
• Hyaluronic acid for deep hydration
• Antioxidants and peptides for skin repair
• Botanical extracts to calm and protect
This dual-action approach both detoxifies and nourishes the skin in a single session.
Most clients notice immediate improvements, including:
• Brighter complexion
• Smoother texture
• Improved hydration
• Clearer pores
• Softer fine lines
Skin looks fresher and more radiant straight after treatment, with continued improvement following a course of treatments.
Your appointment begins with a consultation to assess your skin and goals.
During the procedure:
• The skin is deeply cleansed
• Dead skin cells are gently exfoliated

• Pores are cleared using vortex extraction
• Hydrating serums are infused

Following your HydraFacial treatment, it is important to care for your skin correctly to maximise your results, support your skin barrier and maintain a healthy, hydrated complexion. It is normal to experience some temporary side effects following treatment, including: * Mild redness. * Slight skin sensitivity. * A feeling of tightness. * A healthy glow and improved skin hydration. * Mild tenderness in more sensitive areas. These effects are usually mild and settle within 24–48 hours. To support your skin's recovery: * Keep the treated area clean and avoid touching your face unnecessarily. * Apply only the recommended moisturiser or post-treatment skincare products. * Stay well hydrated by drinking plenty of water. * Avoid rubbing or exfoliating the treated skin. For the first 24–48 hours: * Avoid hot baths, hot showers, saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs. * Avoid vigorous exercise or activities that cause excessive sweating. * Avoid swimming pools and chlorinated water. * Avoid applying makeup for at least 24 hours, or until advised by your practitioner. * Avoid perfumed or potentially irritating skincare products. For the first 5–7 days: * Avoid retinol, retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, vitamin C serums and exfoliating products until your skin has fully settled. * Avoid chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplaning, laser treatments, IPL or other energy-based procedures on the treated area until advised by your practitioner. * Continue using a gentle cleanser and a fragrance-free moisturiser. * Avoid picking or scratching the skin if mild flaking occurs. Your skin will be more sensitive to UV exposure following a HydraFacial. * Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30–50 every day. * Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours when outdoors. * Avoid direct sun exposure and sunbeds for at least 1–2 weeks after treatment. * Wear a wide-brimmed hat where possible when spending time outdoors. Protecting your skin from UV exposure helps maintain your results and reduces the risk of pigmentation changes. HydraFacial delivers immediate improvements in skin hydration, texture and radiance, with regular treatments helping to maintain long-term skin health. To achieve the best results: * Follow the personalised skincare advice provided by your practitioner. * Keep your skin well hydrated. * Use SPF 30–50 every day. * Maintain a consistent medical-grade skincare routine where appropriate. * Attend regular HydraFacial treatments every 4–6 weeks, or as recommended by your practitioner, to maintain a healthy, clear and glowing complexion. Please contact Body Perfection Clinic if you have any concerns about your healing or experience: * Severe or worsening redness lasting longer than 72 hours. * Excessive swelling or increasing pain. * Blistering. * Persistent skin irritation or delayed healing. * Any unexpected or concerning reaction following your treatment. If you think you have developed an infection (such as increasing redness, excessive heat, pus, discharge or fever), or you feel generally unwell, please seek immediate medical advice from your GP, NHS 111 or your nearest emergency department if your symptoms are severe. Your practitioner will be happy to advise you and arrange a review appointment if required.
