Do not wax or thread hair from the treatment area. Do not have electrolysis on the area. Do not use depilatory creams on the treatment area. Do not bleach on the treatment area. Do not use sun beds for 30 days before and after the treatment. Do not sun bathe for 30 days before and after the treatment. Do not use tanning creams.

It is common for the area to feel slightly warm. It is also common to experience some redness. These symptoms may appear appear immediately or a few days after treatment. The use of Aloe Vera gel 100% is recommended directly after your treatment and for after few days if needed. An ice cold compress can be applied if the area feels hot or uncomfortable. A high SPF 30+ should be applied when outside for 4 weeks after. Excessive exposure can cause hypo or hyper pigmentation of the skin.

The removal sensation will vary on different areas of the body and can be different from client to client.

After any IPL Laser it is common for the area to feel warm. For the next 48 hours after treatment avoid all heat treatments such as steam rooms. saunas, hot baths, hot showers and excessive exercise. Avoid all perfumed creams, soaps and lotions on the treated area (until scabs have healed) only use aloe Vera gel. Do not pick or scratch the area else scarring my appear. If you find the treated area sensitive then please continue the after care for a week. Do not use any anti inflammatory products for 7 days after treatment.

It is important that before receiving the body perfection IPL Laser treatments you follow the recommended pre-treatment guide lines 30 days prior to the treatment. Please shave the treatment area on the day before on treatment day (a cost for shaving will be applied to the treatment cost if this is not done before hand). Please remove all make-up before the treatment. Do not use sunbeds for up to 30 days before or after the treatment Do not sun bathe for 30 days before or after treatment Do not use tanning cream.

The sensation varies upon the client although mild sunburn is described for most clients. A sharp pain during and tingling after is normal.

There are two types of treatments for this procedure, 980nm Laser or IPL (Intense pulse light). A light is attracted to the target area as the light is obstructed by the blood vessel it causes a leaf reaction, which coagulates the blood and destroys the protein in the wall of the vessel. The vessel breaks down and the debris are removed by the body’s natural waste system.

We can only treat, people with pale skin, fair skin and olive skin. It is important to avoid sun exposure 30 days before the treatment and during your treatments. The removal sensation will vary on different areas of the body and can be different from client to client.
