Wrinkle Reduction Therapy is a non-invasive IPL treatment designed to rejuvenate ageing skin by stimulating natural collagen and elastin production.
By delivering controlled pulses of light energy into the skin, this treatment encourages fibroblast activity — helping to smooth fine lines, improve texture, and restore a firmer, more youthful appearance without needles or surgery.
It is a natural collagen-boosting treatment suitable for the face, neck, décolleté and hands.
Wrinkle Reduction Therapy can improve:
• Fine lines and early wrinkles
• Loss of skin firmness
• Uneven skin tone
• Sun damage
• Dull or ageing skin
• Mild pigmentation concerns
It is ideal for clients looking for gradual, natural-looking rejuvenation.
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) delivers controlled light energy into the deeper layers of the skin.
The treatment works by:
• Stimulating fibroblast cells
• Boosting collagen and elastin production
• Improving skin texture and firmness
• Targeting excess pigmentation
• Encouraging clearer, more even-toned skin
The light energy is converted into gentle heat within the tissue, triggering the skin’s natural repair response. As new collagen forms over the following weeks, the skin becomes smoother and healthier in appearance.
Before undergoing any laser or light-based treatment, it's important to understand your Fitzpatrick Skin Type, as it helps determine which treatments are most appropriate for your skin.

Most clients notice:
• Smoother skin texture
• Softer fine lines
• Improved skin clarity
• A firmer, more refreshed appearance
Results develop gradually as collagen production increases. With proper skincare and sun protection, results can last between 12–24 months depending on individual skin type and lifestyle.
This treatment is virtually painless and requires no needles.
Your appointment begins with a consultation to assess your skin and suitability.
During the procedure:
• The skin is cleansed
• A cooling gel may be applied
• The IPL handpiece is passed over the treatment area
• Light pulses are delivered in controlled intervals
Most clients describe the sensation as a mild warmth or light flicking feeling. Sessions are quick, and there is no downtime — you can return to normal activities immediately.

Following these aftercare instructions will help your skin heal properly, reduce the risk of complications and achieve the best possible results from your IPL Wrinkle Reduction treatment. What to Expect Following treatment, it is normal to experience: Mild redness and warmth, similar to mild sunburn. Slight swelling. Mild skin sensitivity. Pigmented areas within the treatment zone may temporarily darken before naturally flaking away. Your skin may feel dry or tight for a few days. These effects are a normal part of the healing process and usually settle within a few hours to several days, while improvements in skin texture and fine lines develop gradually as new collagen is produced. Immediately After Treatment Apply a cool compress if the treated area feels warm (do not apply ice directly to the skin). Keep the skin clean and well moisturised using a gentle, fragrance-free moisturiser. Stay well hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area unnecessarily. First 24–48 Hours Avoid hot baths, saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs. Avoid strenuous exercise that may cause excessive sweating. Do not use retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, exfoliating scrubs or other active skincare products. Avoid perfumed skincare products if the skin feels sensitive. If possible, avoid applying make-up for the first 24 hours, particularly if the skin feels warm or irritated. First 5–7 Days Continue using a gentle cleanser and moisturiser. Avoid exfoliating the treated skin until it has fully recovered. Protect the skin from direct sun exposure. Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30–50 every day and reapply regularly when outdoors. Avoid sunbeds and self-tanning products until your skin has completely healed. Maintaining Your Results Collagen production continues to improve over the following 6–12 weeks, with gradual improvements in fine lines, skin texture and overall skin quality. To maintain your results: Wear a broad-spectrum SPF 30–50 every day. Protect your skin from excessive sun exposure. Follow a suitable skincare routine as recommended by your practitioner. Attend your recommended course of treatments and maintenance sessions for optimal results.
