Do not bleach on the treatment area All other treatments including hair removal. Do not use sunbeds for 30 days before or after treatment. Do not sun bathe for 30 days before or after treatment. Do not use tanning cream After any Body Perfection IPL/Laser it is common for the area to feel slightly warm. It is also common to experience some redness, local swelling and mild tenderness. These symptoms may appear immediately or a few days after treatment. The use of Aloe Vera gel (100%) is recommended directly after treatment and for a further few days if necessary. An ice cold compress can be applied if the area feels hot or uncomfortable. A high SPF 30+ should be applied when outside for 4 weeks after. Excessive exposure can cause hypo or hyper pigmentation of the skin. For the next 48 hours minimum (after all treatments): Avoid all heat treatments such as steam rooms, saunas, hot baths, hot showers and excessive exercise. Avoid all perfumed creams, soaps and lotions on the treatment area (Until scabs have healed) Only use Aloe Vera gel. Do not touch pick or scratch the area else scarring may appear.

It is important that before receiving the body perfection IPL Laser treatments you follow the recommended pre-treatment guild lines 30 days prior to the treatment. Please shave the treatment area on the day before on treatment day (a cost for shaving will be applied to the treatment cost if this is not done before hand). Please remove all make-up before the treatment. Do not use sunbeds for up to 30 days before or after the treatment Do not sun bathe for 30 days before or after treatment Do not use tanning cream.

This is an excellent treatment to reverse the signs of skin damage and keep yourself looking younger. On average between 1 to 6 treatments are needed at 4 weekly intervals for best results.

A patch test is conducted to make sure you have no reactions, we complete a through consultation and discuss medical conditions. We may ask for a doctors note before we go ahead with treatment.

Skin Rejuvenation will show mild redness of the skin initially after the treatment. This is a good sign the treatment has worked and sufficient heat has been pushed into the pigment. The redness will fade after a few hours.

The sensation will vary from client to client. The sensation that is felt depends upon the amount of melanin found in the skin. The felling is described as a heat sensation and a few client say it feels like mild sunburn

The heat from the light is attracted through the melanin, the heat reaction breaks down the melanin and coagulates the blood within the area. This then leaves through the lymphatic system leaving the skin with a clearer complexion.
