Treatment is not suitable for clients with: Pregnancy or breastfeeding, active cancer or those currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy, uncontrolled diabetes, autoimmune disorders, blood clotting disorders, immunosuppression, history of keloid scarring or abnormal wound healing. Treatment is not suitable for clients with: Active bacterial, viral or fungal skin infections, active herpes simplex (cold sores), open wounds, cuts or abrasions, active eczema, psoriasis or dermatitis flare-ups, evere or inflamed acne with broken skin, sunburn or recently tanned skin, recent surgery that has not fully healed, suspicious lesions or untreated skin abnormalities within the treatment area. Treatment is not suitable for clients with: Current or recent use of Roaccutane (Isotretinoin), photosensitising medications, recent steroid therapy, known allergies or sensitivities to salicylic acid, aspirin or other peel ingredients. Treatment should be postponed if: There has been excessive sun exposure or recent tanning, fake tan has been applied within the previous 2 weeks, chemical peels, microneedling or laser treatments have recently been performed within the treatment area, there is active inflammation or irritation within the treatment area, the client is feeling unwell or has a fever. Treatment may not be suitable for clients who: Have unrealistic expectations regarding treatment outcomes, show signs consistent with Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), are unable or unwilling to follow post-treatment care instructions and strict sun protection.

For your Salicylic Acid Chest & Back Peel appointment, we recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the treatment area. Soft, breathable fabrics are ideal, as the skin may feel slightly warm or sensitive following treatment. For back treatments, a loose-fitting T-shirt, vest top or button-up shirt is recommended. If the chest is being treated, choose clothing with a wide neckline or buttons to minimise friction during the healing process. Avoid tight clothing, sports bras, backpacks or rough fabrics that may rub against the treated skin afterwards. Please arrive with clean skin free from fake tan, body lotions, perfumes and active skincare products where possible. Mild dryness, flaking or light peeling may occur as the skin renews itself, so loose clothing is strongly recommended to maximise comfort and support healing. Your comfort and privacy are always our priority, and disposable towels and gowns are provided when required. Protecting the treated area from excessive heat, friction and sun exposure following your peel is essential to achieve the best possible results.

Enerpeel® Salicylic Acid Chest And Back Peel is a professional chemical peel designed to improve acne, congestion and oily skin on larger body areas such as the chest and back.

After a peel you may notice your skin is flushed, pink or red (almost like you have caught the sun that day) and your skin may also feel dry and tight. At or around day 3 post treatment you may experience some slight peeling or flaking. This is to be expected and will last 1-2 days. It is possible you may not have any peeling or flaking at all, this does not mean your peel is not working. It is important you wear SPF everyday post-procedure for at least 2 weeks and avoid products containing Retinol, Glycolic or any other exfoliating ingredients for the first week post procedure. You should be ok to apply make up the following day. Avoid any physical activity until the following day and avoid un beds and exposure for 30 days.

Stop using reticap/retinoids 3 days before and do use them again to 3 days after your treatment. Stop using aspirin 3 days before and do not use them again until 3 days after your treatment. Stop using retinol/Glycolic/Salicylic/Vit C 3 days before your treatment. Do not use roaccutane for 12 months before your treatment. No Botox or fillers for 2 weeks before your appointment. No sunbeds/sun for 30 days before and after treatment. No Bleaching or using hair removal cream for 7 days before your treatment. Do not have any other peels for 4 weeks before your treatment. Check all your medication with a technician. Please arrive to your appointment completely make up and product free.

This will be determined by the technician when you come for a consultation, However we normally recommend 3-4 treatments with 10 days interval across 2-3 months. Maintenance is recommended once every 3 months however this is only if you have reached your goal. If you did not reach your goal in the first course we would recommend you start another course until you get the desired results.

This treatment is designed to treat mild-moderate comedonic an inflammatory acne localized on the chest and back.

You may experience erythema usually of short duration (3-4 days), Dry skin. A sensation of itching and burning of medium intensity can be felt by the patient during the application.
