A consultation is an important part of your Circadia® Teen Facial and is recommended before your first treatment. During your consultation, your practitioner will assess your skin, discuss your concerns and determine how the treatment can be tailored to help you achieve healthier, clearer skin. We will review your: Skin type and current skin condition. Medical history and current medications. Previous skin and aesthetic treatments. Current skincare routine and products. Treatment goals and expectations. Your practitioner will explain how the Circadia® Teen Facial works, discuss the expected results, outline any potential risks and answer any questions you or your parent/guardian may have. This ensures your treatment is tailored to your individual skin needs and provides the best possible outcome. For your appointment, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and arriving with clean skin, free from makeup where possible. This allows your practitioner to carry out a thorough skin assessment and, where appropriate, proceed with treatment on the same day. Clients under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian consent before treatment. A parent or legal guardian may be required to attend the consultation and provide consent prior to treatment. To ensure your Circadia® Teen Facial is as safe and effective as possible, please follow the advice below before your appointment. * Avoid direct sun exposure, sunbeds and self-tanning products for at least 2 weeks before your treatment. Recently tanned skin may be more sensitive and prone to irritation. * Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30–50 every day before your treatment and continue to protect your skin from UV exposure. * Discontinue the use of retinol, retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide and exfoliating products for 3–5 days before treatment, unless advised otherwise by your practitioner. * Avoid chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplaning, laser treatments or IPL treatments on the treatment area for at least 2 weeks before your appointment. * Avoid facial scrubs and mechanical exfoliation for 5 days before your appointment. * Arrive with clean skin, free from makeup, moisturisers, sunscreen, oils and perfume on the treatment area. * Stay well hydrated before your appointment to support healthy skin function and optimise your treatment results. * Inform your practitioner if you are taking or have recently taken prescription acne medication, antibiotics, Roaccutane (Isotretinoin) or any other medication that may affect your skin, as these may influence your suitability for treatment. * Please inform your practitioner of any changes to your medical history, allergies, skin conditions or recent aesthetic treatments before your appointment. * If you have an active cold sore, skin infection, eczema flare-up, dermatitis, sunburn, open wound or irritated skin within the treatment area, please contact the clinic as your treatment may need to be postponed. * Clients under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian consent before treatment. Following your Circadia® Teen Facial, it is important to care for your skin correctly to maximise your results, support your skin barrier and maintain a healthy, balanced complexion. It is normal to experience some temporary effects following treatment, including: Mild redness or warmth in the treated area. * Slight tightness or sensitivity. * Skin that feels cleaner, fresher and more hydrated. * Reduced oiliness and congestion. * A brighter, smoother and healthier-looking complexion. These reactions are expected and usually settle within a few hours. Most clients can return to their normal daily activities immediately after treatment. ment To protect your skin and enhance your results: Use a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser and apply the recommended moisturiser. * Drink plenty of water to help keep your skin hydrated. * Avoid touching, rubbing or scratching the treated area. * Continue using any professional homecare products recommended by your practitioner. For the first 24–48 hours: * Avoid direct sun exposure. * Avoid hot baths, hot showers, saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs. * Avoid vigorous exercise or activities that cause excessive sweating if the skin feels sensitive. * Avoid swimming pools and chlorinated water if irritation is present. * Avoid makeup for 24 hours, where possible, to allow the skin to recover fully. For the first 3–5 days: * Avoid retinol, retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, exfoliating acids and facial scrubs. * Continue using a gentle cleanser and moisturiser only. * Avoid picking or squeezing spots, as this can increase the risk of scarring and infection. * Avoid chemical peels, microneedling or laser treatments unless advised by your practitioner. Protecting your skin from UV exposure is essential following a Circadia® Teen Facial. * Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30–50 every day, even on cloudy days. * Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours when outdoors. * Avoid direct sun exposure and sunbeds. * Wear a hat or other physical sun protection whenever possible. Failure to protect your skin from UV exposure can increase the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), particularly following acne breakouts. Circadia® Teen Facials are designed to deeply cleanse the skin, reduce congestion, improve hydration and promote a healthier, clearer complexion. To maximise your results: * Attend treatments as recommended by your practitioner. * Continue using daily SPF to protect your skin and maintain your results. * Follow a personalised skincare routine recommended by your practitioner. * Maintain a consistent cleansing routine and avoid picking blemishes between treatments. Please contact Body Perfection Clinic if you experience: * Severe or worsening redness lasting longer than 72 hours. * Excessive swelling or increasing pain. * Blistering. * Signs of infection, including pus, excessive heat or discharge. * Any unexpected or concerning reaction following your treatment.

Treatment is not suitable for clients with: Active cancer or those currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy, uncontrolled diabetes, autoimmune disorders, blood clotting disorders. immunosuppression, known allergies or sensitivities to treatment ingredients. Treatment is not suitable for clients with: Active bacterial, viral or fungal skin infections, active herpes simplex (cold sores), open wounds, cuts or abrasions, active eczema, psoriasis or dermatitis flare-ups, severe cystic or inflamed acne requiring medical management, rosacea flare-ups or severely sensitive skin, sunburn or recently tanned skin, recent facial surgery that has not fully healed. Treatment should be postponed for clients with: Current or recent use of Roaccutane (Isotretinoin), photosensitising medications, recent steroid therapy, known sensitivities to treatment products. Treatment should be postponed if: Chemical peels, microneedling or laser treatments have recently been performed, the client is feeling unwell or has a fever, there is active inflammation or irritation within the treatment area.

For your Teen Facial appointment, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and arriving with clean skin free from makeup where possible. A loose-fitting top with a wide neckline or buttons is ideal to allow easy access to the face, neck and shoulders while ensuring maximum comfort during your treatment. Soft, breathable fabrics are recommended, and there is no need for special clothing as this is a gentle, relaxing and non-invasive treatment designed to support healthy, balanced skin. Avoid high collars, scarves or jewellery around the neck that may interfere with treatment or cause irritation afterwards. Please avoid applying heavy creams, oils, fake tan or active skincare products to the treatment area before your appointment unless otherwise advised. Most clients are able to return to normal activities immediately following treatment, making the Teen Facial an ideal treatment for managing acne, congestion and maintaining healthy skin. Your comfort and privacy are always our priority, and disposable headbands, towels and gowns are provided when required to help you relax and enjoy your treatment.
