Treatment is not suitable for clients with: High-risk pregnancies unless medical approval has been obtained, pregnancy-related complications such as pre-eclampsia, active cancer or those currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy, uncontrolled diabetes, autoimmune disorders, blood clotting disorders, immunosuppression, known allergies or sensitivities to treatment ingredients. Treatment is not suitable for clients with: active bacterial, viral or fungal skin infections, active herpes simplex (cold sores), open wounds, cuts or abrasions, active eczema, psoriasis or dermatitis flare-ups, severe or inflamed acne with broken skin, rosacea flare-ups or severely sensitive skin, sunburn or recently tanned skin, recent facial surgery that has not fully healed. Treatment should be postponed for clients with: Photosensitising medications, recent steroid therapy, known sensitivities to products used during treatment. Treatment should be postponed if: the client is feeling unwell or has a fever, there is active inflammation or irritation within the treatment area, medical complications arise during pregnancy and further assessment is required.
